Barclays Cycle Superhighways (BCS) are cycle routes running from outer London into central London. 

They give you safer, faster and more direct journeys into the city and could be your best and quickest way to get to work.

The first 4 have now launched with the remaining eight to be introduced by 2015.

Membership is best for

• Hiring regularly (once a week or more)
• Saving time - release cycles with a membership key. No need to use the terminals
• Saving money - Members can buy the most cost-effective (annual) access

Barclays Cycle Hire launched to Members at the end of July 2010 and to Casual Users on 3 December 2010.
